Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have had a wonderful holiday so far! Sorry for the delay in posting I've been busy with many things over this holiday break.
But over this time I have had a lot of time to think about things and I had this video sent to me called "Where is the line to see Jesus". This song was about how parents go and take their child to see Santa and get the kids picture taken with him. However, where is the line to see Jesus? Never has crossed my mind. I mean I do know what the true meaning of Christmas is but to look at it that way. Wow! People around the world are worshipping SANTA!!!! Why??? He gives us presents... yes... But JESUS gave us the ULTIMATE GIFT.... FORGIVENESS! Now that is a gift! We should be worshipping God and giving glory to God. So think about this are you more focused on Santa and the presents under the tree instead of Jesus and the gift he gave us? I don't actually have a Bible verse to go with this besides the story of the birth of Jesus, but I hope you will take time out to read it!
Merry Christmas. God is love.

What is love?
So.... " If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
(1 Corinthians 13 ESV)
Now this video is one that makes you think, like it makes you think about what love is and how you are to others.
Would you be willing to give up your life for your friends and family? Probably but, your enemies?
can you?

Ask and it will be given!
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
(Matthew 7:7-11 ESV)One thing I have learned is to not be afraid to ask God for things. He will listen and help. However, not always in the way we want Him to. He does what is best for us even though we may not understand. He always answers with one of the three answers: yes, no, or wait. Those answers I still have trouble understanding. I ask for a lot of things... and well maybe I am to anxious to get the answer. So: “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
(Psalm 46:10 ESV)
Be still! And listen and trust Him!
Ask and find your answer! That's what I have been doing...especially this week.
Have a Blessed week!
God is Love.

Giving thanks!
This past week was a hard week to face for many in my high school. This boy I have known since 7th grade passed on Friday. He had been battling brain cancer for several years and I watched this boy struggle through it. But the thing is I never saw him truly struggle! He always looked so happy always seemed to be able to find happiness and the good in all things. This young man was smart also, in advanced courses and all! But he lived his life to the fullest. Most of us take advantage of the life we have: good health, our family, friends, our home and clothes, etc. Earlier this month a students house burnt down another sad event that occurred. However, it seems like these events didn't touch some. Why don't we live life to the fullest? But most of all why aren't we thankful for what we have? Most of the time it seems we don't appreciate what we have until what we have is gone, till it is too late. And why just think about the things we are thankful on or around Thanksgiving? Why not everyday? God has blessed us with wonderful gifts! Thank him for giving you such wonderful things!
1 Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever! (Psalm 106:1)
Thank the Lord for the wonderful things he provides for you. Because no matter how bad things get God is still God and God is Good! He loves you no matter what! Thank Him for loving you! And because He loves you he provides things for you! So everyday we should be giving thanks for what we do have. Yes, there are things that we don't have that we want... But have you ever said thanks for the things he has provided you with? That is one thing I even have to do better at. God is love!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Plans Up Ahead!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
(Jeremiah 29:11-14)
One thing stressful to any high school Junior is college. We grow up preparing for it always trying to be perfect to get there. And now that it is here I am stressed. I keep asking myself where I am going next? What else do I do? How do I just leave, how does someone just leave the nest? These are questions I used to think I knew and I still do know. But now that I am preparing my final year and a half or so with my family and in high school I tend to get stressed. I thought I always knew what University I was going to apply for, where I wanted to go. But the question I left out was... What plan does God have for me? He already has a plan and here I have been almost changing it. So do I think I know where I am going? Yes. But I want to go there trusting the Lord to guide me. So trust the Lord. I know that can be scary but He has a plan! He has a plan far greater than we know! Pray to Him and He will listen to you. He will protect you. Don't be afraid of your future, it will be great, we all have an important purpose we just have to wait and see what it is! God is love.

Beauty
Today, I am going to start out by giving you a few verses to think about.
"9likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, 10 but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works." ( 1 Timothy 2:9-10)
"3 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— 4but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious." ( 1 Peter 3:3-4)
When you read these I hope you thought of yourself. As women of God how do we represent ourselves? Do people even recognize that we have a relationship with God? Now yes these can be looked at as oh, but that is in reference to marriage or others. However, " For the Maker is your husband the Lord of hosts is his name..." (Isaiah 54:5) So with that said why represent ourselves immodest? We represent Him people should look and think why is she so different? When we cover up ourselves in fancy clothes and make-up we hide who God made us to be. When we wear inappropriate clothes we make ourselves look impure, even if we are not. Ladies, we get it all wrong! We are all beautiful! With our good works and godliness and big heart we are beautiful! People recognize this beauty! We are all beautiful inside and out but when we dress out of control and cake on make up we hide that beauty we hide the most unique things about ourselves. And remember, "7 You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you." (Song of Solomon 4:7) I walk around a high school and see the generation I live in hide their
beauty like there is something to be ashamed of. We shouldn't be ashamed to be God's child. I hope that women can realize how beautiful they really are.
God is Love.

Love!
Now before you start putting the wrong ideas in your mind ponder this verse Song of Solomon 2:7 "I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or does of the field, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases." This verse is mentioned not once but a few times in the Bible... Which means it is important. I feel that with our generations we tend to forget that God has a plan for us. Women tend to be very impatient when it comes to love but why are we in such a rush? God has someone for us! And no wonder we have bad luck! We are pushing something that isn't ready! I know a beautiful woman who got married through a courtship... She WAITED she was PATIENT... And I have to say she looked like the happiest girl in the whole wide world! That Bride was in it for God. Not for herself but for God! I was given the best advice through that time "Don't settle, what you see is what you get." You look around and see many divorces. My thought is could we have been smarter. I watch many people going through courtships and honestly they seem happier than a lot who don't. Now I am not saying that those who didn't go through courtships aren't happy! Also this verse could say other things.... like about purity! I don't want to tell you all that it could be about. But think about it! It is a great verse and makes you think! God is love!

To Love others the way God loves us!
I am one that is commonly misunderstood. People tend to over read things and judge me harshly based on things that are said by others. And that is common with all people especially while going through high school. And I was once again misunderstood like many times before and the first thoughts that came to mind were negative. Not purposely, it was just natural instinct. I started to think of every reason why I dislike that person... Well that's just not right. I have no right to judge them that isn't my job and I have some of the same qualities that I disliked about them. So here is what I did, and I highly recommend this to anyone who is walking with God. On a paper I made two columns one that said dislikes where I wrote all the things I disliked about that person. The other side I wrote likes and for every dislike I had I wrote a quality that I liked. Sounds easy? Well it's actually not when all you can think about is the negatives. So next I wrote every quality that I disliked that I also had... which is hard to admit but it's there. One was immature... sadly I can be immature sometimes. I wrote a list of how I can change those qualities about myself. Then I wrote a prayer to God asking for the strength and courage to fix those things and I prayed that He helps the people who give me a hard time because they may be struggling somewhere in life or they just need to know Him. Like the Serenity Prayer begins: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference ~ Reinhold Niebuhr. And finally my main goal is to love others the way God loves us, the way I love God. His love is unconditional and that is how ours should be." Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:7-8. God is love.

The Whole Armor of God!
So to get me through the week I'm going to be living through Gods Armor Ephesians 6:10-20
Which says:
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak."
(Ephesians 6:10-20 ESV)
That pretty much sums up all that I have to say. Although I know this week will still be tough, I know that wearing Gods armor will definitely provide the strength and courage to get through it. And to do so by walking through the Holy Spirit, teaching others through my actions. God is Love. Show your spirit for God! Have a Great Week!

Boy Drama
So I did not write the past few days due to..... high school AP teachers who give TONS of ridiculous homework, German Club and its Fall Festival activities, Student Council and helping with Homecoming, and finally the super cold Homecoming game.... this week was terribly long and dramatic I forgot to mention the stupid immature drama of high school. Girls face it guys in high school most of the time are players and they do not care that they hurt you. Why? I don't exactly know! Yes I know it is mean and hurtful trust me I know I have felt that pain. But I also know Gods plan is much greater than I know! And boys are not our focus we have much better things to focus on like God, family, and education. So I know that at least in my school it sucks to be single when it is like couple central. But if you already know the boys are immature then don't try and to the boys that said they would not ever hurt a girl.... way to lie and disappoint us! Don't set the poor girl up. And girls just because they do that does not mean you have the right to do it back! To this all I have to say is read Song of Solomon 2:7 this Bible verse is mentioned a few times... therefore it is important. It says: "I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the does of the field, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases." God has a guy for you but be patient don't rush it....wait.... I know it seems like you have to wait a lifetime but do not rush it! Till then God is Love and he is our Prince Charming! He has already written our story now let Him rock you to sleep with this bedtime story. :)

Spirit Week!
So this week has been Spirit Week at my High School... Yay! It's the time of year that the really gutsy people dress up according to a theme and walk around acting like a dork for a day. Sounds fun right? So Monday was twin day simple, planned, and not too noticeable. I ended up have 3 other matches. We wore our German Club shirt it was pretty relaxed and fun. The second day Tuesday was 80's day.... Now there is a reason we do not live in that time anymore! It was like a free pass to be out of dress code. And there were some pretty interesting outfits. I dressed up in my moms black, fuzzy, half shirt that fell off the shoulders and looked like a carpet.... not the most attractive thing in the world. Today was nerd day. Since when do nerds look so alike... what a stereotypical week. Nerds don't all wear suspenders and pigtails and all those interesting things. I wore my Harvard University sweat pants, hoodie and shirt with my retainer and glasses. Realistic??? I think so. Tomorrow is costume day and Fall Festival which I made 24 cupcakes for. Friday is my favorite day it is SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY!!!! YAY! It is the day I will wear my Rowdy Row shirt (which is a girl supporting a Varsity Football player and spoiling them like crazy!) my mums (which are flowers and ribbon), which makes the school sound like a herd of cows! And it is homecoming! What a fantastic day! What I have to say to this week is when others are talking about others and making fun of them for participating and having fun with spirit week remember Matthew 5:11-12.
"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Stay strong in faith and trust in the Lord be yourself and follow after God. When participating in these activities don't be scared of what others think it's not about them! Have fun and know that you always have God! And always show your spirit for God!!!!

Judging others
I can honestly say I'm not one who walks around thinking that I am is better than everyone else. I normally find faults in myself and don't get to the self absorbed part. Now it's not that I'm not confident it is that I feel everyone should get equal attention and because I am not perfect. Now other people judge me daily and it always does put my faith to the test. I have learned that one of the hardest things to do is to not judge others. Now that is probably because of the society in which we live in and how we have been raised. My parents raised me not to judge however I am human and one thing about us is we do judge. From the first time you meet someone and think to yourself...."this person looks mean" or something along those lines. Well these judgements build up to worse judgements and get out of hand. So I always try my best to not judge so I keep Matthew 7:1-6 in my mind at all times. And one verse from it says "Why do you see the speck that is in your brothers eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?" (Matthew 7:3) This verse specifically stands out to me because most of the time when we judge others it's something we also have in common. And also we are not perfect and neither are they. It isn't my job to judge it is Gods.

Holy Kiss
The title of this blog is based off of
2 Corinthians 13:1-14
Which says...
This is the third time I am coming to you. Every charge must be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. I warned those who sinned before and all the others, and I warn them now while absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come again I will not spare them—since you seek proof that Christ is speaking in me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you. For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! I hope you will find out that we have not failed the test. But we pray to God that you may not do wrong—not that we may appear to have met the test, but that you may do what is right, though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for. For this reason I write these things while I am away from you, that when I come I may not have to be severe in my use of the authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
(2 Corinthians 13 ESV)
I am not writing on here to tell you what is right or wrong but to share with others pure, holy, brotherly love. To tell others of my walk with God. It is a challenge and you will get to know that but with God life is easier. So for every moment of my life that you'll read I will have a Bible quote to go with it. I hope you find comfort in my words but most importantly God's. I hope you feel greeted with the Holy Kiss. God is Love.
